Portobello Sustainability Market
Rita will be offering free repotting drop-ins. As it's coming to the end of repotting season, I'm sure you may still have some plants yet to be repotted but you're a little bit overwhelmed with where to start. Not to worry! Pop by with your chosen plant and I will guide you all the way. By the time you get home, you'll be laughing at how easy it is!
All you'll need is:-
Small (5.5cm) - medium (12cm) sized plant per household you wish to learn repotting with. (Plants that the repotting drop-in excludes is Cacti, Succulents, Aloe Vera, Crassula, Orchids, moss pole plants and Monstera.) This will allow a fair session for everyone!
A plastic nursery pot (the ones that your plant originally comes in with drainage holes underneath) that is 2cm bigger than the current pot the plant is in.
I will be providing Coco & Coir Peat-Free soil and other Peat-Free Houseplant soil but if you have/prefer your own, please bring that along.
The Aim:
To show you how you can easily repot your plants, what you generally need to know. I also offer a repotting service along with a plant check service if ever you still need more help and are unsure. Teach someone how to repot & they'll be repotting plants for a lifetime!
