Light: Originating from South Africa, Crassula Marnieriana has adapted to meet the demands of living in both harsh full sun and the shadows cast by tall rocks and bushes that grow alongside the diminutive trailing succulent. Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate shade for short periods of time.

It will handle almost any lighting condition in an indoor setting but will suffer if left without enough light. Evidence of this deficiency will be the loss of coloration of the plant’s foliage. Crassula Marneriana's prefer the dry spots in your home, avoid placing them in bathrooms and kitchens.

Water: Jade plants like to be well-watered. Allow the soil to dry out before watering again to avoid overwatering. Crassula do not like having their roots sitting in water.
